In this paper, we introduce SYSTEMS consisting of several production units, each of which include several subunits working in PARALLEL. Meanwhile, each subunit is working independently. The input and output of each production unit are the sums of the inputs and outputs of its subunits, respectively. We consider each of these subunits as an independent decision making unit (DMU) and create the production possibility set (PPS) produced by these DMUs, in which the frontier points are considered as efficient DMUs. Then we introduce models for obtaining the efficiency of the production subunits. Using super-efficiency models, we categorize all efficient subunits into different efficiency classes. Then we follow by presenting the sensitivity analysis and stability problem for efficient subunits, including extreme efficient and non-extreme efficient subunits, assuming simultaneous perturbations in all inputs and outputs of subunits such that the efficiency of the subunit under evaluation declines while the efficiencies of other subunits improve.

This study was conducted during summer and winter of 2018- 2019 in the agricultural research field of Shahid Chamran University. Experimental design was split- plot based on RCBD with three replications. The main plot was the type of agricultural system in three levels including conventional (Conv), organic (Org) and sustainable (Sust) (integrated between Conv and Org) and sup- plot was the type of pre- cultivated crop in sequence with wheat including cultivation of mung bean (M- W), corn (C- W), sesame (S- W) and fallow (F- W). Yield quantity (yield and its component) and quality (grain protein), an estimate of photosynthesis matter transfer index of wheat and soil organic carbon (SOC) after one double-cropping were measured. The result showed that the highest (545.04 g/m2) and the lowest (409.28 g/m2) seed yields were obtained in Conv and Org respectively. In contract, with the changing type of system from Conv to Org, grain protein was increased significantly (from 8.3 to 9.6 %). In addition, the highest (535.47 g/m2) yield of wheat was obtained from M- W double cropping. On the other hands the highest remobilization and current photosynthesis matter were obtained in the organic agricultural system with M- W and conventional with M- W double cropping. The situation of SOC showed that the highest (33.18 mg/g) SOC was obtained in the organic agricultural system with C- W double cropping. The reason for improving SOC in the organic and sustainable agricultural system was application of organic matter (compost and vermicompost) and crop residue management. Totally, from the crop ecology point of view, sustainable agricultural method with a sequence of M- W was the most desirable system.

Fuzzy set based methods have been proved to be effective in handling many types of uncertainties in different fields, including reliability engineering. This paper presents a new approach on fuzzy reliability, based on the use of beta type distribution as membership function. Considering experts' ideas and by asking operators linguistic variables, a rule base is designed to determine the level of reliability of each component. Hence, we can determine the level of reliability of components with expending low costs. Also in this work a simple approach is presented for reducing the number of rules. The outputs of the presented model are fuzzy sets representing the reliability levels of components. In order to determine the level of reliability as linguistic variables, a new method is presented. Also the validity of the model is investigated by two methods. After determining the level of reliability of each component, the reliability of the composed system can be determined by using t-norm and s-norm functions. The system can be PARALLEL, series, PARALLEL- series or series-PARALLEL. The presented model has been applied in a glass manufacturing company.

In this paper the real time operation of an automatic teller machine (ATM) is analyzed using a Timed Petri Net (TPN) model. In the modeling, the probability of arrivals, the speed and attentiveness of customers (clients) are taken to account. Different parameters are based on the statistical data. The model is simulated for 24 hours. The diagrams of number of succeeded customers, failed references to ATM, idle times of ATM and wait times of customers are the outputs of TPN model.

IN THE STUDY OF RELIABILITY OF THE TECHNICAL SYSTEMS AND SUBSYSTEMS, PARALLEL SYSTEMS PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE. IN THE PRESENT PAPER, WE CONSIDER A PARALLEL SYSTEM WITH INDEPENDENT AND NON-IDENTICALLY DISTRIBUTED (INID) COMPONENTS. THE PERCENTILE RESIDUAL LIFETIME OF SUCH A SYSTEM IS OBTAINED AND SOME OF ITS PROPERTIES ARE DERIVED.

THIS PAPER PRESENTS FUZZY LOWER AND UPPER PROBABILITIES FOR THE RELIABILITY OF PARALLEL SYSTEMS. ATTENTION IS RESTRICTED TO PARALLEL SYSTEMS WITH EXCHANGEABLE COMPONENTS. IN THIS PAPER WE CONSIDER THE PROBLEM OF THE EVALUATION OF SYSTEM RELIABILITY BASED ON THE NONPARAMETRIC PREDICTIVE INFERENTIAL (NPI) APPROACH, IN WHICH THE DEFINING THE PARAMETERS OF RELIABILITY FUNCTION AS CRISP VALUES IS NOT POSSIBLE AND PARAMETERS OF RELIABILITY FUNCTION ARE DESCRIBED USING A TRIANGULAR FUZZY NUMBER. FORMULA OF A FUZZY RELIABILITY FUNCTION AND ITS A-CUT SET ARE PRESENTED. THE FUZZY RELIABILITY OF STRUCTURES IS DEFINED ON THE BASIS OF FUZZY NUMBER. FURTHERMORE, THE FUZZY RELIABILITY FUNCTIONS OF PARALLEL SYSTEMS DISCUSSED. FINALLY, SOME NUMERICAL EXAMPLES ARE PRESENTED TO ILLUSTRATE HOW TO CALCULATE THE FUZZY RELIABILITY FUNCTION AND ITS A-CUT SET. IN OTHER WORDS, THE AIM OF THIS PAPER IS PRESENT A NEW METHOD TITLED FUZZY NON-PARAMETRIC PREDICTIVE INFERENCE FOR THE RELIABILITY OF PARALLEL SYSTEMS.

THIS PAPER PROPOSES A NEW PARALLEL OPERATION CONTROL OF UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLIES (UPSS). THE SCHEME OF COMBINATION VOLTAGE-CONTROLLED AND CURRENT-CONTROLLED PWM INVERTERS FOR PARALLEL OPERATION OF THREE-PHASE UPS IS PRESENTED. THE VOLTAGE-CONTROLLED PWM INVERTER UNIT AS A MASTER IS OPERATES TO KEEP A CONSTANT SINUSOIDAL WAVE OUTPUT VOLTAGE. THE CURRENT-CONTROLLED PWM INVERTER UNITS ARE OPERATED AS SLAVE CONTROLLED TO TRACK THE DISTRIBUTIVE CURRENT. THIS SYSTEM IS APPLICABLE TO LINK NEW TYPE OF DC POWER SOURCES, SUCH AS FUEL CELLS OR PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS TO UTILITY POWER SYSTEMS. THIS STRUCTURE CONSISTS OF TREE UNIT. THE OPERATION OF EACH UNIT IS DESCRIBED AND A TYPICAL SYSTEM IS SIMULATED AND SIMULATION RESULTS ARE GIVEN.
